Fitness Camp Information

GENERAL INFORMATION

Souperfit camps are for male & female student athletes entering the 8th grade through graduating seniors. We have also added the 10-12 year old age group for males & females.

All camps are held from 8am until 12pm at the Conrad Schools of Science.

ATHLETES, WHY SOUPERFIT?

Attendance at a Souperfit camp will develop the kind of confidence in your own ability that can only be earned through completing a challenging task. As far as fitness is concerned, you will be the most prepared athlete on your team. Souperfit gives you the opportunity to meet and work with potential teammates, opponents, and coaches. And besides, deep down, you know there's a part of you that thinks it's fun to work really, really, really hard.


PARENTS, WHY SOUPERFIT?

Our camps focus on training that will help any athlete no matter which sport they play. All of the training, education, feedback, and fun Souperfit provides are being offered at an exceptional value. When you run the numbers, your son or daughter gets everything for $10 dollars an hour or less! You can't get this type of training for that price anywhere else. You probably would pay more for a babysitter to watch your child sit on the couch and eat chips while he or she watches TV.


COACHES, WHY SOUPERFIT?

How would you like an extra week of pre-season to work on conditioning?   Send your athletes to our August camp and that's what you're getting.

How great would it be if you had a large group of athletes on your team who came to pre- season in shape both physically and mentally? Wouldn't it be nice if you could cut down on the amount of pre-season injuries due to lack of activity during the off season? If your players attend our camps over the summer they will increase their fitness level, their confidence, and their intensity. This will allow you to increase the productivity of your practices and in turn, the number of wins on your record.

What Should Athletes Bring?

  • Desire to improve
  • Towel
  • Change of clothes
  • Sunblock
  • Hat
  • Water bottle
  • Snack

What will Souperfit provide?

  • Water & Gatorade
  • Light snack (no lunch will be served)
  • Data on athlete's performance
  • Individualized away from camp workout plan
  • T-shirt upon completion of camp

What to expect:

  • The first day of camp starts early at 7:30 for check-in, paperwork, and team assignments
  • Athletes are broken up into teams by age/gender/ability
  • Each team of no more than 10 athletes will be assigned 1 coach
  • The whole camp will come together at 8am for the dynamic stretch & warm up
  • At the completion of warm up, teams will separate and begin to rotate through different activities & stations
  • Activities will alternate intensity levels from very demanding to less intense and recovery oriented activities
  • At the end of the day, the entire camp will come together again for team building activities and competition
